The College World Series is in full swing in Omaha and in order to make it a safe and fun event for the spectators, the series is pulling out all the stops. Doug Lambert is an explosive specialist with the A-T-F and is a handler of one of four K-9’s that are patrolling the Rosenblatt Stadium looking for potential trouble. Lambert says they are focusing on the stadium and vehicles. He says both he and Osterman, his dog, are working very hard and they are a true team in both successes and failures. Lambert says with a festival-like atmosphere, it is difficult sometimes to keep his dog on task as there are different odors like food and other animals.
When the series is over, Lambert and Osterman will guard the Olympic Trials in Oregon and then the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
