For the second game in a row, the Omaha Royals beat Round Rock by a score of 3-2. Billy Butler hit two home runs, but it was Jason Smith’s blast in the 13th that was the difference.After Butler got the O-Royals on the board in the first with his fourth homer, Round Rock quickly countered with a two run homer by Ray Sadler off Omaha starter Brandon Duckworth. Those would be the last runs giving up by Duckworth and the bullpen as the Express would put up zeroes the rest of the way.
In the sixth, trailing 2-1, Butler launched his second homer of the game tying it at two. The game would go extras, until Jason Smith his the third Omaha home run of the game.
