Former men’s basketball coach Danny Nee, who’s 254 wins are the most in NU history will be inducted into the NU sports hall of fame.
Nee led the Huskers to five NCAA Tournament appearances, including the school’s last appearance, in 1998. He’s coach Nebraska to seven of their 12 seasons of 20 wins or more.
Eric Strickland,a Bellevue native, who played for Nee and appeared in two NCAA Tournaments and was the MVP of the 1996 NIT, will also be inducted. He’s the first player who played after 1994 to be welcomed to the hall.
