The Kansas 8-man all-star football team beat Nebraska’s all-stars 31-14 at Simon Field in Crete. Taylor Dixon was Nebraska’s MVP on offense totaling 121 yards on 21 carries with 55 of those yards coming on the two of first three drives of the game.
The running back from Wauneta-Palisade scored on a 13 yard touchdown run on the opening series of the game and came back later in the first quarter with a 42 yard run to put Nebraska up 14-8.
That would do it for the scoring as Kansas would take over as they attacked through the air scoring on touchdown passes of 3 and 15 to take a 20-14 lead. The Kansas all-stars would kick a late first half field goal and seal the scoring late on an interception return for a touchdown
