The Lincoln Saltdogs lost to Grand Prairie 10-4. First time in the seven year history of the Saltdogs that they were swept at home in a four game series.
Grand Prairie scored three runs in the first inning, and jumped out to a 10-0 lead. New Saltdogs reliever Dan Knox was lit up for five runs in 4 1/3 innings. Grand Prairie starter Scot Drucker retired 16 Saltdogs in a row at one point. Lincoln didn’t score until the seventh and eighth innings, scoring two runs on four hits in each inning.
