Kearney finishes 0-4 in Midwest Regional

August 8, 2008 By Bill Pollock

The 11-12 year old boys on the Kearney National team have nothing to hang their head about.  Even though the Midwest Regional didn’t go quite as planned in Indianapolis.  Their run ended on Thursday with a 10-7 loss to Daniel Boone of Columbia, Missouri.

Kearney lost three of their four games by a total of four runs and only had one blowout game that came at the hands of Urbandale Iowa, a team that went 3-1 and scored a total of 45 runs in their four games.  Kearney joins the team from Kansas as the two teams eliminated from Little League World Series play.
