The Nebraska football team concluded its second two-a-day on Monday and received high praises from head coach Bo Pelini and his staff.
The second practice went 2 1/2 hours in full pads. The Huskers first practice,started early at 7am and focused mainly on special teams inside the stadium.
The Huskers have been fortunate enough to stay away from major injuries. With he exceptions of the nicks and bumps, the team is relatively healthy, although a few players did sit out practice.
Afterward, Pelini said he’s been impressed with the effort and competition that has been taking place saying, “We’re getting a lot done and our guys are getting better.”
