The Lincoln Saltdogs are on a roll. They won their sixth straight and one game after Lincoln set the team record for six homers in one game, the Dogs came back with three more in scoring a 10-2 win over Wichita.
Lincoln broke the game open with five runs in the third inning, batting around against Wingnuts starter Leonard Landeros. Kit Pellow hit his sixth homer of the year with Lincoln in that inning. Pellow has 40 for the year, as he hit 34 HRs in the Mexican League. Matt Maloney added a solo home run in the fourth and Lincoln was off and rolling for starter Vince Davis who ran his scoreless innings streak to 20.1 before the Wingnuts scored a run in the fourth.
The Saltdogs remain a game behind Sioux City with just two games left to play.
