The head of the Democratic Party in Nebraska is very pleased at how far the party has come in the state.
“It has been a long journey. We have gained a lot and we are happy what we have seen so far.”
Steve Achepohl says this could be a turning point as one of Nebraska’s electoral votes could turn blue.
“Well, it is huge because first of all it is a great party building factor. We’ve got some building to do. We need to get into Sarpy County and build that area. We got the rest of the state. Lincoln is very well developed. We’ve got some work to do but this is a great start for the Nebraska Democratic Party.”
This is Achepohl’s last election as head of the Democratic Party in Nebraska.
