To play him or not to play him, that is the question

January 20, 2009 By Bill Pollock

Brian Diaz is officially a Husker, having enrolled in classes at Nebraska, yet Doc Sadler has not decided whether or not he will use up a year of eligibility with 13 games left in the season.  Diaz is 6’11 and would add some size to the team, but do you waste a full year on just 13 games?

Sadler has said that if he feels Diaz can come in and help the team, he will play him, however on his Monday teleconference Sadler admits he hasn’t really had an opportunity to discuss the situation with Diaz, since he was out on a recruting trip on Sunday.
