A housefire in the Nebraska panhandle has claimed the life of one resident. According to Garden County Attorney Philip Pierce, the Garden County Sheriff’s Office and the Oshkosh Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in Oshkosh just after three o’clock Wednesday morning.
Pierce said there was minor fire damage to the residence and heavy smoke damage to the interior. Fifty-three-year-old William Bryce Frahm, the occupant of the house, was found dead in the residence.
According to Pierce, an initial investigation points to an accidental fire and death from smoke inhalation, though an autopsy has been requested and an investigation continues.
