NU’s Molly Hill, Big 12’s top pitcher

March 24, 2009 By Bill Pollock

Wayne, NE native Molly Hill was named the Big 12 Softball Pitcher of the Week after going 3-1 this past week.  The senior finished with week with an ERA of 0.48.

Opposing hitters only batted .139 against her and she gave up just one extra base hit.  She was crucial in the Huskers winning their first road game against a ranked team since 2007.

She started two games at Texas A & M, losing the first 1-0 after the Aggies scored on a run without getting a hit.  She followed that up with another complete game handing A & M their first conference loss at home in almost two seasons.
