The number 11 Sooners were led by Aaron Baker who went 2 for 5 with two homers and five RBIs, including a two run first inning homer. Six different Sooners homered on the afternoon, as Casey Johnson homered and drove in three runs, while Garrett Buechele, Bryant Herandez and J.T. Wise all homered and drove in a pair of runs.
Freshmen Sean Yost made his first start of the year and went 2.1 innings giving up five runs on five hits and a two walks.
The Huskers were down 14-2. Kyle Bubak led NU with three hits, while Tyler Farst, Big 12 Player of the Week, went 2-for-3. Boomer Collins drove in a pair of runs, as Nebraska scored four times to pull within 14-6 in the seventh.
