The University of Nebraska at Omaha announced that athletic director David Miller is resigning his position to become A.D. at Upper Iowa University of Fayette, Iowa.
UNO Chancellor John Christensen will chair a small group to identify possible athletic director candidates for the position. He said that the group would solicit input from the Athletic Department, UNO athletic committees and booster organizations.
“Filling this position quickly is important. Finding the right person for this job is important,” Christensen said. “UNO has a tremendous reputation and athletic tradition. This university needs and wants the best.”
