At least two tornadoes cut across south-central Nebraska on Wednesday night. Damage from high winds and twisters is still being assessed in several locations across the Husker State, including at a pet products factory west of Aurora which was evidently hit by a tornado about 9:15 PM. No injuries are reported, though several houses in Aurora were also damaged.
The National Weather Service says another tornado touched down in Buffalo County, damaging a quonset hut and at least two farms. Golf ball-size hail was reported in Grand Island and several railcars were knocked off the tracks along U-S Highway 34 in Hamilton County.
