Some good economic news for Nebraska. Our state has been named one of the top 10 pro-business states in the country for the second year in a row. Governor Dave Heineman credits the state’s economic incentive programs as part of the reason for the high ranking.
“We were recognized for having an aggresive buisness incentive package as well as the effort of economic development professionals in our state. The new business interests we have attracted as a result of the Nebraska Advantage has made a real difference.”
The study from Pollina Corporate Real Estate evaluated 33 factors including energy costs, taxes, and infrastructure. The Governor says this ranking is especially noteworthy in these tough economic times.
