The Lincoln Saltdogs let a 4-2 lead in the ninth inning get away as Sioux City rallied with three runs in the ninth to win 5-4 dropping the Dogs to 1-5 in the second half.
The Canaries rallied for three runs against Lincoln closer Chris Thompson, who gave up three hits and two walks in the inning. Cory Harris hit a two run bases loaded single to tie the game with one out and with two outs, Patrick Reilly singled.
Lincoln scored in the first inning on a double play grounder and added another run in the second on a sac fly. Sioux City scored two in the third off Brian Campbell, who finished the day going six innings and allowing just six hits.
Lincoln added an insurance run in the seventh inning on an RBI single by Pichi Balet.
