Saltdogs starter Jim Paduch allowed just one unearned run on four hits over seven innings of work as the Saltdogs move a game above .500 at 9-8. With a 6-1 win over Sioux City. Paduch walked three and struck out seven. Sioux City’s only run came in the top of the fifth, when Derek Schermerhorn stole third and scored on a throwing error.
Phil Hawke hit a two run homer in the bottom of the first, his tenth of the year. The Saltdogs then broke the game open with four runs in the sixth.
