A group of Special Olympians are hurt in a bus crash on their way home from the games in Lincoln.
About 30 adult Special Olympics athletes were on the bus when it overturned on an eastern Wisconsin highway. The bus driver lost control about 3:30 in the morning and plowed into a guardrail. The rail pushed the bus back into the road where it tipped over. Eight people were injured.
The driver and one athlete are reportedly in serious condition where as the others suffered minor injuries. Some of the athletes suffered broken ribs. The crash remains under investigation.
