Kansas City sends Gordon to Omaha

August 19, 2009 By Bill Pollock

The Kansas City Royals sent Lincoln native, former Husker star Alex Gordon down to AAA Omaha. He’ll be with the team tonight in Tacoma.  Gordon has been struggling with the Royals since coming back from hip surgery. He was hitting just .227 with two home runs and eight RBIs in 22 games since coming back. He’ll be in Omaha this weekend.
