The Lincoln Saltdogs a 2-1 decision to the Grand Prairie AirHogs. Lincoln starter Zac Cline allowed just two runs on two hits in eight innings, but two walks leading off the fourth inning hurt him.
One out later, Javier Brito hit a two run double down the left-field line to score the first runs of the ballgame. Grand Prairie would manage just two more baserunners the rest of the night, but the two runs would prove to be enough. The Saltdogs never did figure out AirHogs starter Dimitri Camareno (4-2), who allowed just one run on four hits in 6.1 innings pitched. Lincoln loaded the bases with two out in both the first and fifth innings, but failed to score in either frame. The Dogs’ only tally came in the sixth, when Shawn McGill blasted a long solo home run to left, his sixth of the season. Overall, Lincoln left 11 men on base in the game.
