It’s the start of week three for fall camp. Head coach Bo Pelini has been preaching it since day one, consistency, consistency, consistency. Pelini thinks the team is getting close, but not quite where they should be for the start of the season, however, he also thinks the team can get there.
As I mentioned yesterday Rex Burkhead, the true freshmen appears to the be the number two back behind Roy Helu Jr. However, the team moved Marcus Mendoza from wide receiver back to the I-back spot. At 5’9, 190 pounds Mendoza says he feels more comfortable at running back.
Mendoza has already built up a pretty good relationship with Burkhead and Marcus knows nothing will be handed to him.
