$10 million for renewable energy projects in NE

Nearly 10 million dollars will be coming to the State of Nebraska from the U-S Department of Energy for Energy conservation projects in the state. Jerry Loos (loose) is with the State Department of Energy and says communities can apply for grants valued up to 250-thousand dollars.

“For projects such as street lighting, for building retrofits, and for renewable enrgy projects.”

The money is being allotted as part of the reinvestment and recovery act.
