The #8 Huskers begin Big 12 tonight against Texas Tech. The Huskers are coming off their five set loss to UCLA which snapped the Huskers 90 match winning streak at home. The Huskers come into conference play at 7-2. They have won or had a share in the last five Big 12 titles. There are some challenges that lie ahead for head coach John Cook.
Cook has been happy with the teams ability to pass as Cook says if you’re going to be successful in Big 12 play, you must be able to pass the ball. However, as expected with a young team, there is a lot to improve on. Three things Cook would like to see get better are reducing service and attack errors and the third area Cooks said is just getting the team to play with a little more confidence.
