Head coach Bo Pelini sending a message out to Husker fans yesterday. After Monday’s practice, head coach Bo Pelini was asked to respond to some of the boos that came from the Memorial Stadium crowd as the offense struggled in the 31-10 loss to Texas Tech.
“I don’t get influenced by the fans think. If they want to earn the respect and title of being a head coach then they can make decisions…until then the buck stops here.”
One thing for sure, as you’ll hear, Pelini was not about to set all the blame for the sluggish offense on the QBs.
After the game on Saturday, Pelini was asked if there could be a change at quarterback, and I’m paraphrasing, but Pelini said all positions would be looked at and re-evaluated, but Pelini downplayed the fact that both Zac Lee and Cody Green took snaps on Monday.
As far as injuries, Roy Helu, Phillip Dillard, Ricky Henry, Alfonso Dennard, and Ricky Brooks all sat out of practice yesterday. Finally, you’ll have plenty of time to take the kids trick or treating on Halloween. The Versus Network will pick up Nebraska’s game at Baylor on the 31st with an 11:30 kickoff in the morning.
