Nebraska quarterback Zac Lee said it pretty plainly. “Hold onto the football and get into the end zone.” That would pretty much take of the Huskers’ issues heading into this Saturday’s game at Baylor.
On today’s Big Red Report, you’ll hear from Lee as he talks about getting away from the Memorial crowd for a road game. As the leader of the offense, he’s been under some pressure at home and there are some advantages to getting away on the road. Lee also admits, it’s been tough hearing the boos in Lincoln, but he also knows that high level of scrutiny comes with playing football at Nebraska.
Most of the players feel their two Big 12 losses have more to do with them leaving opportunities on the field as opposed to just getting flat out beat by their opponents.
