Wymore Police and Gage County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man on suspicion of domestic assault and strangulation, who previously had bond set in connection with an October assault of the same person.
Authorities say 42 year old Scott E. Wilson is in custody on suspicion of assaulting a female at a Wymore home in the 200 block of South 10th. His appearance bond is now set at $100,000, with bail set at $20,000.
A Wymore police officer and two Gage County Sheriff’s officers responded to the home at 2:20 this morning, following a call by a friend of the woman. They found Wilson allegedly hiding under a sheet in a small closet of the house. Law officers were told by the female living at the house that she had been struck in the face, kicked and choked.
Wilson’s October bond had a no-contact provision, barring him from contact with the female victim. Authorities learned he had been living at the woman’s Wymore house for one to two weeks.
A Gage County Court hearing is set for December 15th.
