Congratulations to Nebraska softball coach Rhonda Revelle. On Saturday she learned she was selected induction into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame. She will formally be inducted next December. In 17 seasons with the Huskers, Revelle is 650-342.
Since the NFCA started selecting members to it’s Hall of Fame, they have only selected 53 coaches over the last 20 years. Revelle told Huskers.com, “It is extremely humbling to think about going into the NFCA Hall of Fame,” she said. “It is even more of an honor to be inducted as a coach from the University of Nebraska. I am so fortunate to have always been surrounded by such a great team. This award truly belongs to the entire Nebraska softball community.”
As she enters her 18th season, Nebraska has made 14 NCAA Tournament appearances, while winning six Big 12 titles and twice advancing to the Women’s College World Series.
