Texas A&M used an 18-6 run late in the second half to come up with a 64-53 win as the Huskers dropped their first game in the Big 12 Saturday afternoon. With their first Big 12 loss, Nebraska falls to 12-4.
Nebraska’s shooting suffered at a tough place to play where they hit just 37 percent (20-of-54) from the field. The Aggies didn’t do much better at just 38.3 percent (18-of-47), but they were 25 of 33 from the free throw line.
Freshman Christian Standhardinger made his career debut and led the Huskers in scoring with 13 points and a team high seven rebounds.
