Extraordinary Measures is a movie being released today that has a University of Nebraska Lincoln connection. UNL spokesman Dave Fitzgibbon explains.
“From what I understand the movie is actually based on a real life story, but it’s fictionalized, and we’re not sure why but they did decide to make it set at UNL, so Harrison Ford’s character is a professor that works at Universty of Nebraska Lincoln in the movie.”
Fitzgibbon tells us that they didn’t actually film any scenes here at UNL but do use UNL items as props. Harrison Ford also visited UNL to see how an academic scientist works in real life.
