All-America candidate Kelsey Griffin scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and added six assists which was a career high as the Nebraska women beat Coloroado 89-73 on Saturday afternoon to move to 25-0.
For Griffin it was here 15th double-double of the year in front of almost 12,500 fans. The Huskers also moved to 12-0 in league play. Give Colorado some credit…they set a Devaney Center record by hitting 15 three pointers.
Griffin led four Huskers in double figures as senior forward Cory Montgomery scored 17 points and senior guard Yvonne Turner hit 4-of-14 on three pointers to finish with 14 points, five assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block, and junior guard Dominique Kelley added 13 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals.
