The deadline approaches for all Nebraskans to get their Census form returned. People have until Friday, April 16th to get the form in the mail.
Nebraska ranks 4th best in the country for participation this year but numbers are lagging behind the 2000 Census total by six percentage points. The current rate of participation is at 72-percent.
The Census form contains ten questions and takes only a short time to answer. Having the form completed and in the mail on or before Friday will prevent a visit to your home by a Census taker who will ask you the questions in person.
