Nebraska basketball coach Doc Sadler announced the signing of two players with two years of eligibility left. JUCO guard Caleb Walker and point guard Kamyron Brown, a transfer from Oregon.
Walker was an NJCAA Division I first-team All-American in 2010. He did not redshirt while attending Butler Community College. Brown spent 2007-08 and 2008-09 as a member of the University of Oregon program. The Huskers actually recruited Brown out of Mater Dei High School in California.
Sadler said “I’m excited to add two quality people and proven winners to our program. In this recruiting class, the most important thing to me was signing guys who expect to win. Caleb and Kamyron have proven it at the high school and college levels because the teams they’ve played on are successful. And they’ve proven that team goals are more important to them than individual goals.”
