The Huskers pounded out a Big 12 Conference-record 11 doubles in a 21-5 rout of Creighton. Nebraska’s 26 hits were second in school history to the 35 it had in a 50-3 win against Chicago State in 1999 and were the most in a Division I college game at Rosenblatt as the Huskers avoid being swept in the season series.
Adam Bailey drove in a career-high eight RBIs, going 3-for-7 with a homer. DJ Belfonte and Kyle Bubak had four hits apiece, as Bubak scored four times, while Belfonte tied a school marked with three doubles. Kale Kiser also set career bests in both hits (three) and RBIs (four) as he had two doubles and a triple, helping NU score 21 runs in the first six innings in taking the final game of the season series between the two teams.
