Nebraska senior wide receiver Niles Paul was cited early Friday on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor and urinating in public after Lincoln police found the 20 year old urinating on a fence. Paul was suspended in the spring of 2009 after an April arrest of suspicion of driving under the influence.
In this latest incident, Paul consented to a breath test and registered a .104 percent blood alcohol level. Nebraska coach Bo Pelini released a statement saying, “I have met with Niles Paul about the matter. It has been addressed and handled internally.”
Paul was second-team All-Big 12 last season and earned offensive MVP honors in Nebraska’s 33-0 Holiday Bowl win against Arizona.
