Nebraska U.S. Senator Ben Nelson is disappointed that a resolution failed that would have kept the EPA from enforcing new energy regulations.
“Just because EPA is a little impatient with what they consider the lack of progress, it doesn’t entitle them to go off on their own and adopt regulations, just because the Congress is not moving fast enough for them.”
Nelson says if the new orders from the EPA take effect it could hurt businesses and residents. He is hopeful that legislation from another Senator will be passed. it would keep EPA actions from taking effect for at least two years.
