Lincoln Saltdogs reliever Chris Thompson walked four in the ninth inning as the Grand Prairie Air Hogs pulled to 4-2, and Grand Prairie had the bases loaded with two out before Thompson got a fly out to left to end the game at 4-2.
AirHogs starter Luke Prihoda (2-3) retired the first 15 batters he faced, but the Saltdogs greeted him with three straight hits in the sixth to load the bases. One out later, Albenis Machado hit a sharp ground ball to the right side. Juan Camacho made a diving stop, but then threw the ball away, allowing a pair of runs to score. Lincoln tacked on two more runs in the eighth inning on RBI singles by Argelis Nunez and Juan Richardson.
Lincoln catcher Shawn McGill was named the American Association player of the week after batting .526 last week. McGill had two home runs, nine RBIs and five runs scored during that stretch.
