Nebraska gets home grown recruit for O-line

June 23, 2010 By Bill Pollock

More than a dozen colleges were after him, but 6’9 295 pound lineman Zach Sterup of Hastings, St. Cecilia has committed to Nebraska. He played on the defensive and offensive line for the Blue Hawks who won the C-1 state football game. He will work on the offensive side at Nebraska.

Rivals.com had Sterup rated as the number one lineman in Nebraska. He is the 12th commit for 2011 for the Huskers and third in-state recruit, joining offensive lineman Ryne Reeves (Crete) and Daniel Davie (Beatrice).
