The Nebraska men’s basketball schedule was released. The Huskers will play in the Puerto Rico tip-off. NU will have at least 16 games against teams that played in the postseason last year and potentially seven of their first eight games could come against postseason teams. Saturday January 15th at Kansas and Wednesday February 23rd against K-State will be on ESPNU. A home game on January 18th against Colorado will be on ESPN2.
Head coach Doc Sadler told Huskers.com, “Overall, it is one of the most challenging schedules we have faced in my five years here, especially with the tournament in San Juan. I also think we have some really good home games for our fans. When you add that tournament to playing in a league that has been the top-rated conference in two of the last four year and looks to be just as strong again this year, it will be a good challenge for us.”
