The Lincoln Saltdogs had their three game winning streak snapped on Monday, losing 11-7 to Wichita at Haymarket Park. A four run seventh inning was the difference for the Wingnuts.
The game was tied 5-5 until the seventh when Wichita took the lead for good with a four-run seventh. A single, double, sacrifice fly, a balk and another single chased Lincoln starter Jake Marceaux (0-2). The Wingnuts added two more runs in the inning, and added two more in the eighth for an 11-5 lead. The Saltdogs got two back in the bottom of the eighth on RBI grounders by Juan Camacho and Brandon Jones, but could get no closer.
