Yesterday we focused on Idaho’s quarterback, Nathan Enderle the North Platte native, but as we look to Saturday’s game it sounds like Bo Pelini will use all three quarterbacks again. While Pelini said nobody owns anything, not only does Martinez show his ability to run the offense, but his teammates are responding to him.
As far as this week’s opponent, Pelini is impressed with the size of Idaho and their “smarts.” While the Huskers are facing some tougher competition this week, Pelini says the players are a little more comfortable preparing for this game because now they have some game film to watch.
The Nebraska Football Hall of Fame will welcome its 2010 class to Memorial Stadium for induction at a banquet on Friday night, before formally being introduced during Nebraska’s game with Idaho on Saturday.
Headling this year’s group, All-American linebacker Carlos Polk and teammate Dan Alexander from Nebraska’s 1997 national championship team. Ndamukong Suh, who earned automatic induction into the Hall of Fame by winning major national awards last season won’t be there because of the Detroit Lions’ season-opening game against the Chicago Bears.
