Nebraska’s incoming baseball recruiting class has been ranked 15th nationally by the publication, Collegiate Baseball, in its annual rankings.
It marks the second straight year that the NU recruiting class has been tabbed in the top 15. This year’s incoming class is highlighted by two pitchers who were drafted in the first 11 rounds of the 2010 MLB Draft, including Nebraska City’s Logan Ehlers. Ehlers is coming off back to back state player of the year honors. Ehlers was drafted in the eighth round by the Toronto Blue Jays.
Texas was the highest Big 12 team at 13th. Oklahoma State was 27th and Oklahoma 31st. No Big Ten schools were in the top 40.
