This is going to be one of those old-fashioned knock down drag out type of football games this Thursday when the 6th ranked Huskers travel to Manhattan to take on the K-State Wildcats.
The only evidence you need is to look at the stats. First, I’ll start with rushing. Nebraska leads the Big 12 with 309 yards a game, not only leading the conference but up near the top in the nation at 4th. Second to Nebraska is K-State, 22nd in the country at 216 yards a game. When it comes to passing, NU and K-State near the bottom, 102nd and 103rd respectively.
The stat that sticks out to me that tells me while the game may not be high scoring, it’s a game that could definitely be controlled by the Huskers, I told you about the Huskers being fourth in the nation in rushing offense, the K-State defense, 102nd in rush defense, allowing 195 yards per game on the ground.
