The 9th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball squad swept Bellevue (25-8,25-16, 25-13) Thursday night as the Lopers improve to 17-3 and are now 12-1 at home this fall. The Bruins, ranked 26th in the NAIA, drop to 20-7.
In a match that lasted just over an hour, Bellevue never led and had the match tied only once. The Bruins had nine attack errors and just eight points in the first set. Senior Kelsey Werner and freshman Katie Sokowlowski combined for 19 kills and no hitting errors to help the Lopers hit .400 (48-10-96).
