Nebraska soccer star Morgan Marlborough was named the Big 12 offensive player of the week after a record setting weekend for the sophomore. Marlborough broke Christine Latham’s school record for consecutive matches with registering a goal which Marlborough has now scored in eight straight games.
Marlborough scored two goals in Friday’s 4-1 win over Iowa State and scored another in the 4-2 win over Missouri on Sunday. Nebraska is 11-4-0, 4-2-0 in Big 12 play and now head to Oklahoma for two tough road matches. On Thursday, NU will play OU, and on Saturday the Huskers face #5 Oklahoma State.
