Nebraska soccer goalkeeper Tara Macdonald broke the single game record with 13 saves and Morgan Marlborough saw her school record of eight straight matches with a goal come to an end as the Huskers tied Oklahoma 0-0 in double OT.
Macdonald played at Oklahoma and transfered to Nebraska. It was the sixth shutout for her career and the 13 saves she made broke the previous record of 12 by Karina LeBlanc (1998) and Erin Miller (2002).
Marlborough had three of the Huskers six shots on goal and missed on one that hit the post in the second half. The Huskers are now 11-4-1 overall with a 4-2-1 record in Big 12 play, and now get ready for fifth ranked Oklahoma State on Saturday.
