For those in need of a job, get ready for Tuesday. Clay Seaman is spokesman for the event and says chances of landing a job are good.
“We are going to have over 50 employers that are actually hiring right here in Omaha. We are looking at over one-thousand jobs that will be available.”
Seaman says employees are seeking workers for all types of positions.
“There is going to be full time, part time. We even have employers that are coming to this job fair to recruit for seasonal positions too.”
Seaman says make sure your resume is up to date and be ready to speak to potential employers on the spot.
“There is going to be on-site interviews. There are going to be applications to fill out. Yea, there will be some employers that will direct you to their website but be prepared to be hired on Tuesday.”
Seaman also suggests you also dress as if you have a scheduled job interview.
“Maybe put away the hat. Hold the pants up. Wear a nice shirt, blouse, business attire. Kind of have an idea of what you want to say. Kind of do your own presentation before you come out to the event.”
The job fair is at the Coco Key Water Resort at 72nd and Grover and runs from one until 5.
