The 3rd ranked Nebraska volleyball team reached the halfway point of the Big 12 season with a perfect conference record with their 17 straight win as they took care of last place Texas Tech in straight sets.
NU is now 10-0 in Big 12 play following their wins of (25-14, 25-11, 25-13)Wednesday night at the NU Coliseum. The win marked the 27th straight win for the Huskers in the series and the 13th straight sweep.
Brooke Delano and Hannah Werth each had 11 kills and Lindsey Licht added 10, with all three NU attackers hitting .400 or better for the match. Werth also chipped in 12 digs for her seventh double-double of the season.
The 18-1 Huskers also got solid matches from setters Sydney Anderson and Lauren Cook who combined for 46 assists while Kayla Banwarth’s had a match-high 18 digs.
The Huskers will open the second half of the Big 12 schedule on Saturday night with a 7 p.m. match against the Missouri Tigers.
