After Thursday afternoon’s practice, head coach Bo Pelini met with the media for a final time before Saturday’s game at Oklahoma State.
A lot of attention is being paid to the Cowboys top receiver Justin Blackmon, a receiver that Pelini says has good ball skills. Facing another team, especially in the Big 12, that has a talented group of receivers is nothing for Nebraska and it is something they expect to see every week.
I touched a little bit on OSU’s 27 year quarterback Brandon Weeden, a big guy who Pelini says can do a little bit of everything. The one thing Weeden likes to do is throw the ball up and let his big receivers go after it and fight for it, but the key with any passing game is applying pressure.
