The Nebraska Cornhuskers got back to their winning ways with a 51-41 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater, handing OSU their first loss of the season.
Taylor Martinez passed for 323 yards and threw five touchdowns, while running for another 112 as the Huskers outgained OSU 540-495 yards. The Huskers never trailed in the game, but never led by more than 14 and that was for just a three minute span in the third quarter.
Brandon Kinnie had three touchdown catches of 45, 9 and 8 yards and Niles Paul had a 100 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
The Blackshirts were certainly exploited by OSU’s big time players as Justin Blackmon hauled in five catches for 157 yards for two touchdowns and Kendall Hunter rushed for 201 yards on 26 carries with two touchdowns.
